There are many things that can be done to help out with this biodiversity issue that Australia is facing. One thing that can be done to help out in a small way is sustainable living. We all have the power to change the way we live our lives even if it means catching the bus, riding a bike, or walking. You can make a difference in your own homes by growing plants for local vegetation and animal life, using the drain only for water use (not oils or solids), saving power. If all these little aspect were done in every individuals home, it would make a difference. Also, community biodiversity is an effective way to help out the issue because of the rapid awareness that communities have the capability of doing.
Many of ideas are small little tasks to do, but many people do not have the ability to be apart of these acts. Not only do people not have the ability to do these tasks but, many just do not want to do them. These acts of laziness are the causes of why Australia is so bio diverse. Many people talk about becoming eco-friendly, but these tasks only last so long, and people do not continue on with these acts. In order to really get the word out to people, I feel like a public announcement would be the most effective way for people to see the reality going on, which might change some minds.
